Centre Stage is based in Leek, a small market town in the north of Staffordshire. We were founded early in 1998 and since formation have produced two shows every year. Our productions vary between classic plays, comedy and drama and the occasional pantomime. See full list of our past productions.

 

Our members are all ages from children, as young as 10, through to senior citizens and people join us with various degrees of talent and experience. New members are always welcome to either perform, work backstage, front of house or help with the running of the society. If you are interested in joining us please contact our secretary or pop along to our rehearsals which are uauslly Tuesdays and Thursdays at Westwood First School, Westwood Road, Leek from 7:30pm to 10:00pm. You will be made very welcome.

 

Centre Stage are proud to be members of the National Operatic and Dramatic Association (NODA) and also the North Staffs Drama Association (NSDA). We enter all our productions in the year long NSDA festival and have won many awards over the past few years most notably winning the Festival in 2004 with Tess of the d'Urbervilles and again in 2006 with Quartet.
